This conference focused on implementation of the outcomes of the World Radiocommunication Conference 2015 (WRC-15) as well as Capacity Building on development of national broadband plans. Organised by the African Telecommunications Union in collaboration with ARCEP Benin, there were over 170 spectrum experts in attendance and the GSMA delivered a presentation which highlighted the importance of spectrum harmonisation and the key policy steps towards implementing the decisions of the WRC-15 in regard to mobile spectrum.
