Blue Origin has announced plans for TeraWave, a new enterprise-focused satellite constellation spanning LEO and MEO, designed to deliver ultra-high-capacity, resilient connectivity for data centers, enterprises, and government users. The optically linked network will include 5,280 LEO satellites and 128 MEO satellites, operating in Q/V-band and offering symmetrical bandwidth with speeds up to 144 Gbps in LEO and 6 Tbps via MEO optical links. Blue Origin says TeraWave targets around 100,000 customers and differentiates itself from consumer-oriented constellations by prioritising point-to-point, enterprise-grade connectivity and redundancy. Deployment is planned to begin in late 2027.
