Made up of experts from across their geographical area, the regions provide forums for the mobile industry to discuss and address the most important topics to them.
GSMA Asia Pacific
GSMA Asia Pacific coordinates the efforts of the GSMA and its members to monitor relevant policy and legislative developments in the region, identify priorities for the mobile industry, and develop and communicate consensus positions on these priorities.
It represents the GSMA’s views and initiatives at regional institution meetings and events, with offices in Hong Kong and New Delhi. It also convenes the industry-leading M360 Series in the Asia Pacific region.
GSMA Europe
Headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, GSMA Europe represents the interests of mobile network operators in Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). In this region, more than 200 mobile network operators provide connections to 730 million unique subscribers. We use our combined expertise to give the mobile connectivity industry a single and powerful voice.
GSMA Greater China
The GSMA Greater China team focuses on the promotion and execution of the GSMA’s programmes, advocacy initiatives and priorities at the regional level.
We facilitate industry consensus, increase the global impact of our partners, empower sustainable development and work closely with the wider ecosystem through our international events and platforms including MWC Barcelona, MWC Shanghai, MWC Las Vegas, MWC Kigali, M360s and GSMA Intelligence.
GSMA Latin America and the Caribbean
Headquartered in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the GSMA Latin America and the Caribbean team is dedicated to advancing mobile development throughout the region. We actively engage with ministers, regulators, international organizations, digital ecosystem players and key opinion leaders to showcase the sector’s contributions, forge partnerships and advocate for policies that drive industry growth.
GSMA North America
GSMA North America plays a pivotal role in advancing emerging technologies and digital solutions, ensuring North America’s position as an innovative and thriving market. We are actively involved in supporting global GSMA programs from partnering with operators to promote 5G adoption and contributing to the launch of the GSMA Open Gateway. These initiatives powerfully drive innovation and expand the capabilities of mobile communication technologies in the North American market.
GSMA Middle East &
North Africa
The GSMA MENA team focuses on the promotion and execution of the GSMA’s global programmes, advocacy initiatives and priorities at the regional level.
We facilitate industry consensus, increase the global impact of our partners, empower sustainable development and work closely with the wider ecosystem through our international events and platforms including MWC Barcelona, MWC Kigali and M360 MENA.
GSMA Africa
Our multi-disciplinary team of more than 20 staff spread across the region, focuses on the promotion and execution of the GSMA’s global programmes, advocacy initiatives and priorities at the regional level. The GSMA’s key activities are Mobile for Development (M4D) initiatives, public policy engagements, coordination of regional interest groups and member services.
