GSMA ANNOUNCES NEW DEVELOPMENTS FOR 2015 MOBILE WORLD CONGRESS SHANGHAI

London: The GSMA today provided an update on the 2015 GSMA Mobile World Congress Shanghai, including new exhibitors and sponsors, as well as additional GSMA and partner programmes being held at the annual mobile industry event. Mobile World Congress Shanghai will take place 15-17 July 2015 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC).

Working with Los Angeles-based memBrain LLC, the GSMA is launching “Pop Forum: Shanghai” at Mobile World Congress Shanghai. New Meetings and Events at Mobile World Congress Shanghai
A new programme at Mobile World Congress Shanghai 2015, the Enterprise IoT Summit will bring together CIOs from a range of industry sectors, as well as leaders of technology enablers, to discuss the development of the Internet of Things (IoT) and how enterprises can benefit from this rapidly developing technological shift. The GSMA has formed an agreement with China Connected Health Alliance (CCHA), the branch organisation of European Connected Health Alliance (ECHA), to bring digital health to Mobile World Congress Shanghai. Building on the GSMA’s previous collaboration with ECHA, the Digital Health Programme at Mobile World Congress Shanghai is designed to foster thought leadership within digital health in China and showcase the next generational of deployable healthcare technologies.

GSMA Expands Innovation Programme
Building on last year’s success, the GSMA is expanding its Innovation Programme to include the Innovation Series, the Baustein Innovation Summit 2015, Startup Alley, Innovation Labs and a range of innovation-focused networking activities. Each session in the GSMA Innovation Series will focus on a forward-looking conceptual discussion of the overall business and policy environment from the perspectives of crucial players in innovation value chain, including investors, start-ups, policy makers and academia. The Baustein Innovation Summit 2015 is an exclusive, invitation-only event for executives in the mobile industry as well as other sectors and is designed to challenge current assumptions regarding the growth and adoption of corporate innovation and disruption by startups.
