Kamran Kordi

Kamran Kordi is as an Industry security analyst at the GSMA’s Security Department where he works on identifying evolving security threats facing the mobile industry. He is passionate about ‘invisible security’ in an increasingly digitalised world where all citizens are protected seamlessly without the need to go through pesky user experiences. He often dreams about it too.

Kamran has a long experience of the mobile industry covering a wide range of areas from signal processing, cyber security, infrastructure and handset design to machine learning. Prior to joining the GSMA Kamran was at Nokia Bell lab’s Technology Vision Department and Deutsch Telekom’s R&D division. He holds a PhD in machine learning from Loughborough university.
