Key trends shaping the mobile ecosystem in Asia Pacific

Mobile connectivity continues to be at the core of digital innovation in Asia Pacific, enabling a wide range of transformative technologies for individuals and enterprises, and helping governments to deliver positive impacts for society. This is evidenced in its contribution to the economy; in 2022, mobile technologies and services generated just under 5% of Asia Pacific’s GDP – a contribution that amounted to $800 billion of economic value added.

GSMA’s annual Mobile Economy Asia Pacific (APAC) 2023 Report will be released on Monday 24 July 2023 at an in-person launch event taking place in Level 2 Community Space, Singtel Learning Centre, 8 George Street in Singapore.

During this event we will reveal GSMA’s latest data and forecasts for 2030 as well as the key trends shaping the mobile ecosystem in Asia Pacific.
