Khusbu Rai

Khusbu Rai is a Software Engineer Intern at Paytm from India and a final-year B.Tech student in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. She is the Team Lead of MALAAI (ML & AI) Team, where she leads impactful technology initiatives for underserved communities. She has previously interned with Jio and DRDO as a SWE Intern and holds roles as a Microsoft LSA and Amazon MLSS Trainee in 2025.

Her journey includes winning various National & International Level hackathons, including the GSMA Open Gateway Hackathon 2025 for RakshakAI, UST Global. She secured AIR 2 among Top Engineering School Leaders 2026 in India, and her work in AI-driven innovation has been featured across 12+ national publications including The Times of India & The Hindu. Her vision is to build inclusive and human-centered AI systems that create meaningful social impact.
