October 9, Day One Agenda – Workshop

Keynote Speaker Hear from GSMA Chief Marketing Officer, Lara Dewar, about the diversity within the telecommunications industry
Motivational Speaker Students will have the opportunity to hear from our motivational speaker Asisat Oshoala. Oshoala is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays as a striker for National Women’s Soccer League club Bay FC and the Nigeria women’s national team. She is also the founder of The Asisat Oshoala Academy (AOA), an all-girls training platform that promotes both athletic and educational opportunities for young women.
Workshop Closing Remarks Following a group picture, participants will hear closing Remarks from Collaborating Organizations and Sponsors. Students will hear an informational explanation of the upcoming MWCLV showroom floor tour portion of the event. GSMA will close the training workshop section of the day, providing a break before the Tours section

October 9, Day One – Guided Tour of Showroom Floor

Welcoming and Opening Participants will be welcomed back to the event and hear an opening on the tour portion from GSMA
Instructions and Guidelines of Showroom Tour GSMA will provide instructions on the showroom floor tour, putting participants into small groups and coordinating group audio of the mics and earpieces used on the tour. Following instructions and coordination, the students will be guided down to the Mobile World Congress Las Vegas Showroom floor
Guided tour of MWC Las Vegas Showroom Tours Participants will embark on a guided tour of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) showroom floor. The tour provides an immersive experience of the latest innovations and technologies in the telecommunications industry. Attendees will be divided into smaller groups to enhance the experience and facilitate better interaction. Each group will have a designated guide to lead them through the showroom. Each group will visit four unique booths, each representing a different telecommunications company. At each booth, participants will attend a short information session. Company representatives will be available to answer questions and engage with participants. The showroom tour is designed to be interactive, with opportunities for hands-on demonstrations and live presentations. Attendees can explore cutting-edge technologies and see firsthand the advancements shaping the future of telecommunications.
Closing Attendees will hear closing remarks from sponsors and collaborating organizations. GSMA will close the event

October 10, Day Two – Career Coaching and Interview Advice Session

Creating your personal brand A speaker will guide attendees on the value of building a personal brand
Job Interview fundamentals and tips Attendees will receive tips and tricks for job interviews within the STEM field. Learn job interview fundamentals and advice
Q&A Participants will have the opportunity to ask women in the telecommunications industry questions related to job interviews, applications, and the tech experience in general
Activity Guidelines Students will be introduced to the Interview Advice Session activity and guidelines
Interview Advice Session Students will have the opportunity to discuss job interview questions and answers in roundtables, led by a panel of industry professionals. The panel will provide direct feedback on different responses to unique interview scenarios
Headshots During the interview advice session, participants will have the opportunity to get a headshot for their LinkedIn profiles and other professional use
Closing Remarks Closing Remarks from Collaborating Organizations and Sponsor

Registration for the event is first come, first serve, and is open to girls 18+ only. Participants are invited to register for select sessions or choose all, depending on their interests. Attendees will receive free entry to MWCLV24
