Nadia serves as Technology Director for the Middle East and North Africa at GSMA, where she works across strategic technical programmes spanning future networks, 5G/6G, AI, and security across the region.

Collaborating closely with mobile operators, OEMs, and regulators, she delivers interoperable, deployable solutions that enable inclusive digital transformation and regional economic growth. She also coordinates in-market trials and regional working groups to translate global standards into scalable, real-world outcomes, and facilitates high-level participation by MENA stakeholders in industry dialogues and flagship events, including MWC Barcelona and MWC Doha.

Prior to joining GSMA, Nadia built a distinguished career of over 15 years spanning telecom R&D, automotive, and consulting. At Ericsson and Bosch, she led pioneering proof-of-concepts in private 5G, edge and low-latency architectures, and Industry 4.0 applications, developing innovations in connected vehicles and mission-critical systems. She has contributed to 3GPP and ETSI standardisation bodies and played an active role in the 5G Automotive Association (5GAA).

Her regional portfolio includes launching connected-car services in Saudi Arabia, managing NEOM’s technology and digital infrastructure delivery, and shaping 5G/6G, security, and smart-city strategies across MENA. She holds 26 granted U.S. patents and has authored numerous technical publications.

Nadia holds a PhD in Computer Science and Communication Technology from the University of Rouen, and MSc degrees in Computer Science from the University of Bordeaux and Telecommunications Engineering from ENSEIRB. Multilingual in Arabic, English, French, and German, she bridges research, standards, and deployment to accelerate technology adoption across the MENA region.
