Ashley Olson Onyango

Ashley Olson Onyango is the Head of Inclusive Digital Finance at the GSMA, where she leads efforts to advance financial health and drive innovation and collaboration across digital financial services in emerging markets. With a strong focus on bridging the digital divide, Ashley works to empower underserved populations by fostering inclusive solutions that leverage mobile technology to improve financial health and resilience — including the role of digital financial services in strengthening food systems and supporting rural and agricultural communities. Prior to joining the GSMA, Ashley held various leadership roles where she worked closely with public and private stakeholders to advance inclusive growth and development. Her expertise spans financial services, digital innovation, rural development, food systems strengthening and policy advocacy.
