Maham Hasan

Maham joined the GSMA in September 2024 as part of the Mobile for Development (M4D) team. In February 2025, she transitioned to the Digital Inclusion team’s operations unit, taking on the role of Assistant Operations Manager. In this capacity, Maham plays a key role in supporting the Connected Women team on the Handset Affordability Programme and assisting the Senior Operations Manager to ensure the successful delivery of programme objectives. She is also responsible for tracking and reporting on the programme’s progress.

Prior to joining the GSMA, Maham worked as an Assistant Project Manager in the Governance and Stability Team at Adam Smith International. She also served as a Policy Analyst at The Childhood Trust, a London-based NGO. Maham holds a Master’s degree in International Social and Public Policy (Development) from the London School of Economics.

Passionate about development programme management, Maham is particularly interested in gender equality and empowerment, aligning her career with initiatives that drive social impact and inclusion.
