Connectivity providers are part of a digital value chain that spans online services and platforms, cloud providers, advertising and analytics, device manufacturers and many other players. As technologies evolve and business models mature and converge, new regulations may be deemed necessary. The GSMA regularly engages with regulatory authorities when such proposals — e.g., on net neutrality, platform regulation and fair competition — could have an impact on the mobile sector.
