With years of experience in telecommunications and smart terminal industries, Mr. Chen has deep insights into technology-driven terminal transformation and innovation from the perspective of communications services. He is a senior terminal expert and industry thinker within the operator community. His primary research areas include 5G/6G commercialization, smart terminal industry transformation, AI terminal development, and eSIM terminal development. He has published dozens of professional articles in media outlets such as People’s Posts and Telecommunications News, Communications Weekly, and Communications World.

Mr. Chen serves as a member of the Science and Technology Committee of China Unicom and a Distinguished Senior Lecturer at China Unicom College. He is also a technology influencer running the video channel “Terminal Veteran Fengwei Chen”. He serves as Vice Chairman of the Global Intelligent Internet of Things Consortium (GIIC), and is recognized as an expert in the National Science and Technology Expert Database, a technology expert of the China Institute of Communications, and a youth expert of the Internet Society of China.
