Samsung has announced the certification of its Exynos 2500 mobile processor, offering enhanced energy efficiency and performance. Developed in partnership with Skylo, the processor supports 3GPP NTN (Non-Terrestrial Network) standards, enabling direct satellite connectivity where cellular networks are unavailable. This builds on their earlier collaboration with the Exynos Modem 5400, expanding satellite access to mainstream mobile devices globally. Skylo showcased the technology at MWC Shanghai from June 18 to 20.
