Build relates to the building of the final solution for delivery which may consist of a number of components that need to be integrated and tested before being deployed/delivered

• Whilst basic testing and integration may be performed during development, testing will need to be performed as part of the build stage which will consist of comprehensive security tests of the end to end solution
• Where the solution is delivered in volume the build process will be highly repetitive and may be a source for security vulnerabilities to be introduced and will need to be considered
  • This testing may be highly automated (where high volumes justify automation) and should include appropriate security testing of the build.
  • Testing may also be performed on a batch basis, subject to an agreed approach with the customer which must provide an appropriate level of security assurance.
