Q2 Connected Manufacturing and Production Community Meeting

Q2 Connected Manufacturing and Production Community Meeting

Start: Thursday 14 May 2026 12:00

End: Thursday 14 May 2026 13:30

Venue: Online

Join our next Connected Manufacturing and Production community meeting on Thursday 14 May, 12:00 to 13:30 BST, for practical, first hand perspectives on how to deliver digital transformation in manufacturing and how physical AI is starting to be used in real industrial settings. We will also share a short recap of the key themes from the MWC26 Manufacturing and Production Summit and Round Table, and talk through how the community is run and how members can help shape future topics and sessions.

  • Archetype AI: how industrial AI is moving closer to where data is created, and what telecom networks and partners are doing to support fast, reliable AI in factories while keeping appropriate control of data.

  • Druid and LMT: In this session LMT and Druid will share real-world private 5G deployments across industrial environments, with a focus on manufacturing and logistics. We will walk through two selected case studies in Riga port and at a manufacturing site and share practical lessons learned in building highly efficient private networks. The session will also touch on our commercial approach, illustrating how private 5G projects can be built in business case sensitive environments.

  • O2 Business: O2 Business shares how the STFC Daresbury Laboratory 5G Ecosystem is helping transition advanced manufacturing technologies from testbeds into real production. The session focuses on moving from lab to line and enabling scalable adoption of new approaches to support the Agentic Factory.

  • MWC26 recap: a quick round up of the main themes from the Manufacturing and Production Summit and Round Table, and what they could mean for this community over the coming months.
  • Community governance and participation: how Connected Manufacturing and Production is organised, and how members can get more involved by suggesting topics, helping shape agendas, and guiding the direction of the community.
