In light of this consultation and the opportunity for stakeholders to raise issues regarding the implementation of the Geo-blocking Regulation—particularly the potential inclusion of audiovisual services — the GSMA and Connect Europe, representing the European telecommunication sector, aim to highlight key concerns and highlight the importance of keeping audio-visual media services outside the scope of this regulation as is today the case following Article 1(3).
