GSMA has been a member of the Management Chamber for M2M Systems Development of the Brazilian Ministry of Communications since 2014, and leads the Working Group on mobile health. Last November, GSMA presented a contribution in response to Chamber consultation describing the M2M solutions global scenario in relation to medical assistance and explaining the potential [benefits] of mobile health services for the country. The Brazilian mobile health market could benefit 28 million new patients and contribute $4,500 US dollars to the national GDP.
