Vision 2040: WRC-27 Public Policy Paper

The World Radiocommunication Conference 2027 (WRC-27) will provide the spectrum framework to shape the future of mobile connectivity. Decisions taken at the conference can increase the availability of low-band spectrum for wider mobile coverage, deliver a pathway for mid-band spectrum that meets growing demand through the 2030s, and establish a harmonised international framework for D2D to extend connectivity to sparsely populated areas. Together, these decisions can provide the spectrum resources needed to support future economic growth, innovation and digital inclusion.
