Keynote 2: How eSIM will deliver the promise of a perfect Mobile Platform for the convergence of services

In the past, there were many attempts to transform the SIM card as the platform for the convergence of services that combined payment, identity management and mobile applications. Barriers were always undermining the efforts to build an ecosystem in addition to negotiations between parties for the controlling points, especially in the case of the SIM-NFC. Today, the eSIM has become the element of convergence for many interested parties due to its disruptive ecosystem, maturity, seamless management, and Security Domain flexibility. This session will focus on the shift to the eSIM and how OEMs, MNOs and third parties can navigate this change, utilizing Valid’s eSIM stack and “transversal applications” in combination with Google’s Strongbox technology.
