BSC is renowned for its pioneering work in high-performance computing (HPC), data management, and computational science. The centre’s commitment to advancing computational capabilities, coupled with its collaborative approach to tackling global challenges, positions BSC at the forefront of technological innovation – it’s the world’s eighth-largest supercomputer, 3rd in Europe and one of the greenest globally.

Together Veon, Beeline Kazakhstan, Barcelona Supercomputing Centre and the GSMA Foundry have signed a MOU. This groundbreaking initiative, led by GSMA Foundry aims to explore collaboration around the development of AI, language tech and LLMs for under-resourced languages, including those spoken in the regions where VEON operates.
