The BSC AI Factory is one of 16 EU AI Factories, designed around 4 core services and 8 support mechanisms aimed at breaking AI innovation entry barriers (HPC access and technical expertise available to GSMA members), generating an AI-related innovation ecosystem (networking, funding, talent, etc) and training the next generation of experts for AI-driven economy.

BSC and GSMA Foundry LLM activities

The rapid evolution of artificial intelligence (AI) and its applications in language technologies has highlighted a significant challenge: the AI language gap. This gap primarily affects speakers of non-global or “low-resource” languages, which are underrepresented in the digital sphere.

VEON, Beeline Kazakhstan, Barcelona Supercomputing Centre and GSMA Foundry sign MOU
