
Call for Demos – MWC Shanghai 2026
Showcase Your Innovation at Asia’s Premier Connectivity Event
We invite organisations to submit proposals for engaging, interactive demos to be showcased within the GSMA Pavilion at MWC Shanghai 2026. This is your opportunity to present cutting-edge technologies and immersive experiences to an influential audience of industry leaders, operators, innovators, media and partners.
MWC Shanghai 2026 will take place 24–26 June 2026 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC).
Space is available on the GSMA Pavilion, but please note that build costs will be the exhibitor’s responsibility. Apply early to secure your spot, spaces are limited!
Who Should Apply?
We welcome submissions from GSMA Members, partners or consortiums that include at least one GSMA Member organisation. Demos should focus on novel use-cases and provide hands-on, interactive engagement, purely screen-based presentations will not be considered.

What We’re Looking For
- Highly interactive and experiential demos that encourage attendee participation
- Demonstrations that show real-world value and use-cases
- Projects that highlight technological leadership and problem-solving innovation
- Engaging visual and tactile experiences
Demos that are solely passive or screen-based will not be considered.
Demo Themes
We’re particularly looking for demos in 5G-Advanced and Beyond, IoT, Smart Cities & Smart Manufacturing, Fintech & Mobile Money, Smart Mobility, Security and Post-Quantum Technologies, Identity, Trust & Privacy, Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN) and Satellite Connectivity, and AI – but we welcome innovative mobile technology from all areas.
Benefits of Participation
Selected demos featured at the GSMA Pavilion will receive:
- Visibility in a high-traffic showcase at MWC Shanghai
- Engagement with potential partners, customers and media
- Inclusion in GSMA promotional outreach
Selection Criteria*
Demo proposals will be evaluated based on:
- Quality and clarity of the concept description
- Level and creativity of interactivity
- Relevance to mobile and digital innovation
- Feasibility of delivery on-site at MWC Shanghai 2026
*Final decisions rest with the GSMA selection committee.

Eligibility: Current GSMA Members or partner organisations that include a GSMA Member.

Logistics & Build Requirements
Participants selected for the Pavilion will need to:
- Cover build and production costs (internet, AV, electricity, lighting, demo pod setup etc.)
- Comply with the MWC event terms and conditions
- Coordinate technical delivery with the GSMA team
