GSMA Foundry Excellence Awards 2026 – Innovation in Motion

Now in our fifth year, the GSMA Foundry Excellence Awards continue to recognise and celebrate the most innovative and impactful projects in the mobile and digital industries.

On Sunday 1 March, ahead of MWC Barcelona 2026, the GSMA Foundry Excellence Awards returned to the iconic Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, bringing together leaders from across the mobile and digital ecosystem to celebrate innovation in action.

Now in its fifth year, the awards recognised the most impactful GSMA Foundry projects delivered in 2025, spanning AI-driven networks, next-generation connectivity, enterprise transformation, and security.

This year’s ceremony also highlighted the growing convergence between terrestrial and non-terrestrial networks, with strong representation from satellite-enabled solutions and cross-industry collaborations.

Why the Awards Matter

The GSMA Foundry Excellence Awards go beyond recognition; they demonstrate how collaboration across industries is turning innovation into deployable solutions.

From AI-native networks to satellite-enabled connectivity, the 2026 winners show how the industry is moving from pilots to scalable, real-world impact.

The increasing presence of NTN-focused projects highlights a clear shift:
connectivity is no longer just terrestrial, it is becoming truly global, integrated, and software-driven.
