Expanding the Internet of Things Everywhere – Sateliot

Sateliot is revolutionising IoT connectivity by leveraging 3GPP standards (Release 17/18) to integrate satellite and terrestrial IoT networks. With only 20% of the Earth’s surface covered by terrestrial mobile networks, Sateliot’s low-cost, low-power “store and forward” technology enables IoT connectivity in remote areas via a small constellation of low earth orbit (LEO) satellites.

The service, set for commercial launch in 2025, has secured over €250 million in contracts and partnerships with mobile operators. With plans to expand its network to over 100 satellites by 2028, Sateliot aims to deliver near real-time global IoT connectivity, supported by strategic investments and advancing NB-IoT chipsets.
