Video Interview: Connecting Patients and Healthcare Through 5G

During M360 ASEAN, Dr Masdiana Sulaiman, Head of Innovation (XR & Metaverse and Web 3.0) at CelcomDigi, talks about how connectivity is enabling new approaches to healthcare, from robotic surgery and medical education to remote telemedicine.

She highlights two examples: robotic surgery with UMMC, supporting both clinical procedures and medical education, and remote telemedicine with HP Unimas, helping doctors reach patients in areas where travelling to hospital can take days.

Dr Masdiana also emphasises that connected healthcare depends on collaboration between hospitals, doctors, technology companies and network providers. By bringing these different capabilities together, connectivity can help patients access doctors when and where it matters most.
