4YFN hosts a prestigious global competition aimed at identifying and celebrating the world’s most innovative digital startups. This competition serves as the pinnacle of recognition for startups at MWC Barcelona 2024, ensuring international exposure. As part of their prize package, the 2024 finalists were granted the opportunity to showcase their accomplishments through the GSMA Foundry platform. Allow us to introduce you to our five outstanding finalists below!
Qilimanjaro
2024 4YFN award winner Qilimanjaro bring practical applications of quantum computing to the market in a shorter timeframe than digital quantum computers, by using a different but complementary model of quantum computation: the analog model. They create a coherent quantum annealer accessible via our cloud to run real-world applications such as optimisation tasks in the logistics, finance, and energy sector, among others, and quantum simulation of chemical and physical processes, very present in the materials and pharmaceutical research industries. We aim at providing our clients with a faster, more accurate and sustainable solution to their computing problems.
MICA AI
MICA is developing an automatic decision support system, based on AI and ML that supports radiolo- gists and oncologists for breast cancer prevention. Headquartered in Tel Aviv and collaborating with The Sheba Medical Center and ARC (one of the 10 bests hospitals in the world)’ MICA aims to become the world leader in the mammography- breast cancer detection field, to make every yearly checkup and follow-up less challenging and set the Platform as the standard practice for mammography analysis.
Whispp
Whispp’s language independent AI technology and calling app converts whispered speech and vocal cord impaired speech into a clear and natural voice of your choice, without any delay. By providing recordings, your Whispp voice will even sound like your own healthy voice! With the Whispp app you can reach anyone you want on their mobile or fixed number. The other person does not have to download the app. You can ask family and friends to do so. Whispp is free for them and they can always call and video call you on your Whispp app.
Bitsensing
Bitsensing is a pioneer in advanced radar solutions. Founded in 2018 in South Korea by leading experts in automotive radar technology, the company has expanded the use of its high-performance, auto- motive-grade radar across a variety of applications in autonomous driving, connected living, smart cities, health tech, and beyond. Since its inception, bitsensing has raised a total of $46 million in fund- ing to bring ‘radar everywhere’, with investment from Korea Development Bank, HL Mando Corporation, Industrial Bank of Korea, and more.
