GSMA Member Recommerce©, a leading player in smartphone refurbishment in Europe, becomes the first refurbisher to join GSMA Member Samsung’s “Authorized Refurbisher Partner” programme, launching the sale of refurbished Samsung products using the manufacturer’s genuine parts and official software.
A Manufacturer-Level Quality Requirement
For the first time in partnership with a manufacturer, Recommerce guarantees consumers flawless quality through a strict refurbishment process using the brand’s official resources combined with its industrial expertise:
More than 100 inspection points corresponding to Samsung specifications: Every device undergoes a complete and rigorous Samsung diagnostic to ensure the proper functioning of the smartphone.
Samsung Repair Tools: Samsung provides all the tools that enable optimal and secure refurbishment, while maintaining smartphone features such as waterproofing.
Samsung Genuine Parts & Software: Every defective component is identified by tests conducted using official Samsung software, then replaced with an original part to guarantee the quality and integrity of the product. The power cable provided with the smartphone is also from the Samsung brand to ensure perfect compatibility.
Guaranteed Battery Health: The refurbished smartphones in this programme feature a minimum 85% battery capacity. If this threshold is not reached, it is replaced with a brand-new original battery.
Software and Security Updates: Every smartphone benefits from the latest system and security updates using official Samsung tools, ensuring a secure and fully up-to-date experience.
A logo to identify the products concerned: To help consumers easily identify eligible products, whether online or in store, Recommerce will use a recognised partner logo.
