Connected Honeybees: The Live Hive
Preserving bees means protecting our food supply. With honey bees dying at higher rates, smart agriculture using LTE-M is one of the solutions in preserving this important species. The Bee Corp was in the process of automating the data analysis and needed a solution where they could use APIs to automatically bring sensor data into their internal database. Data collected through sensors connected to bee hives include bee hive health, humidity, location (GPS), anti-theft with accelerometer and temperature for preserving the live stock of bees.

G+D Mobile Security
Video Matters – securing connected cameras
As IoT cameras become ubiquitous, it’s critical to secure both the devices and the data streams. G+D’s SIM secure solution provides an efficient, effective, hardware-based solution that can be implemented in virtually any IoT device. The SIM secure element serves as an anchor for authentication and end-to-end protection of the communication between device and cloud. The SIM provides a tamper-resistant platform for mobile communications and remote server/cloud authentication. Now, the SIM is being applied to next gen use cases – protecting the IoT.
