GSMA M360 LATAM and CLTD 2024 to bring together Latin America’s digital ecosystem in Mexico City

The events will spotlight trending topics such as the efficient use of telecom networks, regulatory improvement, spectrum, 5G, digital inclusion, sustainability, AI, and Open Gateway.

24 April 2024, Buenos Aires. For the third consecutive year, two of the most influential events in the region will join forces to discuss the future of connectivity. M360 LATAM and the Latin American Digital Transformation Congress (CLTD), convened by ASIET and the GSMA, with the Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT) as host, will take place on June 5th and 6th at the Hyatt Regency in Mexico City. Government authorities, executives, and experts from international organisations will discuss the most relevant trends in telecom and technology, as well as the essential public policies needed to drive their development and productive use in the region. Registration is now open, free of charge, and grants access to both events.

At M360 LATAM, the organiser of MWC Barcelona, the GSMA, will bring together regional and global leaders from across the tech ecosystem, mobile networks and connected industries to analyse and anticipate the future of digital businesses in the region. This year’s topics include artificial intelligence, GSMA Open Gateway and API economy, Open Ran, network security, 5G monetisation, and net emissions reduction. New for 2024, the GSMA will present the M360 LATAM Awards to recognise regional innovation. There will be an award for an Industry Champion and a LATAM Social Impact Award. The latter category is open for submissions until May 10th, and the winner will be selected by a panel of industry experts.

Under the theme “New rules for a user-centric digital ecosystem,” the 11th edition of the CLTD will urge action to ensure the sustainable development of telecommunications networks and put the user at the centre of the digital ecosystem. Leaders from the public and private sectors throughout the region will discuss universal access to mobile connectivity, productive use of ICTs, investment sustainability, efficient use of telecommunications networks, future spectrum policy, and digital transformation.
