The Mobile Gender Gap Report 2018

February 26, 2018 | Connected Women | Global | GSMA

This report provides further evidence of the persistence and scale of the mobile gender gap across low- and middle-income countries, including the barriers that women and men face to owning mobile phones and using mobile internet.

Findings from this report are based on the results of face-to-face surveys conducted by GSMA Intelligence in 23 low- and middle-income countries, and subsequent analysis of this survey data. The survey countries represent 73 per cent of the total adult population of all low- and middle-income countries
