This case study reveals the promise of mobile money-enabled cash and voucher assistance (CVA) programmes in Somaliland. It documents the innovative steps that ZAAD and humanitarian organisations have already taken to meet the needs of beneficiaries, and highlights the challenges mobile money providers (MMPs) and humanitarian organisations must overcome to scale further and realise the full potential of mobile money CVA.
