The objective of this whitepaper is to inform and raise industry interest for the need to strengthen the authentication mechanisms for sensitive use cases through the introduction of token-based approaches. The document describes a set of use cases that will require strengthened authentication mechanisms and additionally identifies the requirements on different actors to implement the proposed mechanisms.
