GSMA Appoints Stephanie Lynch-Habib as Chief Marketing Officer

London: The GSMA today announced the appointment of Stephanie Lynch-Habib as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Mrs. Lynch-Habib, who is currently CMO at Colt Technology Services, will join the GSMA effective from 9 September and will report to GSMA Director General Mats Granryd. Mrs. Lynch-Habib will oversee all areas of the GSMA’s global marketing and communications strategy, identifying and delivering strategic marketing issues for the industry and will also be responsible for all marketing of the industry-leading MWC events held annually in Barcelona, Los Angeles and Shanghai, as well as the Mobile 360 Series of regional conferences.

Her breadth of knowledge and marketing experience will be a huge asset to the GSMA and its members as we work together to shape and support the digital future,” said Mats Granryd, Director General, GSMA. “Stephanie brings more than 25 years of global experience within the digital and telecoms ecosystem and I am excited for Stephanie to be part of the GSMA leadership team.”

Mrs. Lynch-Habib joins the GSMA from Colt Technology Services and before that spent 16 years with AT&T Business EMEA and held many senior roles including Global Marketing Director, Sales Vice President (VP) EMEA and Sales VP IoT and Strategic Solutions EMEA. Mrs. Lynch-Habib was also a founder of AT&T’s European Women’s network, was recently named one of the Top 20 women to watch in telecoms by Capacity Media and has been nominated twice to Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Next Generation conference. Mrs. Lynch-Habib holds an M.S degree in Entrepreneurial Finance, Strategic Cost Accounting from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business and a B.S. degree in Finance from Rutgers University.
