A virtual industry convening platform, GSMA Thrive will give ‘attendees’ the quality convening experience that they have come to expect from the world’s leading mobile industry association. While the world adapts to the challenges of physical distancing, the GSMA will offer the best of the industry’s voices and perspectives to learn from and to connect. The GSMA is committed to unlocking the power of connectivity so that people, industry, and society thrive and are pleased to offer GSMA Thrive China 2020 keynote and online sessions to all attendees without charge. The GSMA’s 5G IN initiative, launched in China by the GSMA in September 2019, partners with investors to explore future disruptors and opportunities in the 5G era. Since its inception, it has spearheaded many novel engagements with start-ups, entrepreneurs, verticals and ecosystem stakeholders. At GSMA Thrive China, the GSMA continues its exploration through carefully curated programmes on emerging growth areas such as new infrastructure, AI in Networks, mmWave, IoT, 5G security, and 5G messaging (RCS). The events include complimentary online classes via the 5G IN Academy, closed-door business matching sessions for 5G IN investor partners and start-ups. We are additionally proud to introduce the inaugural 5G IN Award that looks for the most innovative start-ups in China, which will be decided by a senior panel of academia, investors and industry executives.
