IR.83 describes how the SIP-I (SIP with encapsulated ISUP) is utilized in the IPX (Internet Protocol Exchange) environment, and illustrate a generic SIP-I profile to be used for the Packet Voice Interworking over the IPX between different mobile and fixed Service Providers. This document should be used in conjunction with IR.86 Test Execution Instructions and IR.87 SIP-I Interworking test cases.
