M360 ASEAN 2026 will convene leaders from government, mobile operators, technology, and the wider digital ecosystem to explore how ASEAN can move from digital ambition to trusted implementation.

As the region advances digital economy integration, cross-border data frameworks, AI adoption, cloud cooperation and digital trade, the next phase of growth will depend on more than connectivity alone. It will require trusted infrastructure, interoperable regulation, resilient networks, secure digital services, and inclusive innovation that enables businesses and citizens to participate confidently in the digital economy.

The GSMA Mobile for Development team will be at M360 ASEAN, to convene stakeholders in conversations on AI and humanitarian resilience. Our sessions (by invitation only):

‘Industry role in strengthening Early Warning Systems across ASEAN region‘:

The session will explore how ASEAN can build on this progress to strengthen capacity, accelerate adoption, and position the region as a centre of excellence for mobile-based early warning systems. It will also highlight the critical role of the mobile industry and GSMA Mobile for Humanitarian Innovation in advancing this work.

‘From Use Case to Impact: Measuring and Scaling AI in LMICs‘:

This session will explore how innovators, funders, and researchers are implementing and measuring the evolving impact of AI tools in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), while supporting pathways to scale that preserve their social value. Drawing on two GSMA Innovation Fund grantees (DeafTawk in Pakistan and Malaysia, and ImpactByte in Indonesia) and including other players in the ecosystem, we’ll spotlight how AI is being applied in diverse contexts, the real-world challenges faced in assessing outcomes as tools evolve, and the trade-offs between commercial sustainability and deep impact.
