About The GSMA Innovation Fund
The GSMA Innovation Fund supports innovative digital solutions in emerging markets. This third round is The GSMA Innovation Fund for Digital and Urban Solutions, which is funded by UK aid from the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), aims to support start-ups and help to scale digital solutions that provide essential services for the urban poor.
The fund is based on four themes:
- Plastic recycling and waste management;
- Energy;
- Water; and
- Sanitation.
