Daniele Tricarico

Daniele oversees the work of the Central Insights Unit and the M&E function in M4D. In his role, he is responsible for engaging with M4D’s funding partners in HQ and regions to deliver research and analysis that address global and regional challenges. Daniele leads the team to produce thought leadership content on frontier technology, digitalisation and their role in progressing sustainable and inclusive development. As senior director for Monitoring and Evaluation(M&E), he also oversees the M&E function of M4D, ensuring that impact measurement methodologies are robust and consistent throughout the M4D portfolio.

Daniele has been at the GSMA since 2015. He has previously managed the insights teams of the GSMA AgriTech and mHealth programmes, producing analysis and intelligence for sector practitioners. Prior to joining the GSMA, Daniele worked as an industry analyst and consultant for the telecoms and media sectors in emerging markets, at Informa Telecoms & Media (now Omdia) and GlobalData. Daniele holds an MSc in new media and information systems from the London School of Economics and an MA from the University of Bologna.
