In July, we gathered 14 innovators from the GSMA Innovation Fund portfolio for a closed-door bootcamp in Jakarta, Indonesia. These start-ups and NGOs have been working together with the GSMA to scale their products and services into sustainable businesses. The two days bootcamp brought them together with ecosystem partners, Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), investors and donors to connect, build relationships and discuss opportunities to scale.
We hosted tailored sessions on grant management and compliance, navigating fundraising, building resilience in vulnerable communities, female inclusion, and an interactive workshop on building synergies with MNOs.
This video showcases the highlights of two days, including participants discussing how the GSMA Innovation Fund supports them, the problems they strive to resolve, role of mobile technology, their scaling journey, and what they learnt at this event.
The GSMA Innovation Fund is currently funded by UK International Development from the UK government and the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA), and is supported by the GSMA and its members.
