The Digital Inclusion Evidence Gap Map report is a companion to the Digital Inclusion Evidence Gap Map. The report synthesises over 100 empirical studies exploring the role of mobile internet in livelihood outcomes. Studies in the map show that mobile internet significantly improves convenience, autonomy and access to information and services, especially for informal workers, women and youth. The report underscores that mobile internet not only reshapes social networks and authority but also supports financial management, time savings and emotional well-being.Â
