Enterprise pain first!
Natasha Nayak the Head of the GSMA’s Fusion, demand-side, Programme, explained their role. Fusion starts with enterprise pain points not an API catalogue and then mobilises operators around real demand. She gave real-world examples of impact including reduced onboarding drop-off in Portugal, 500,000 monthly SIM swap/number-verify transactions in Brazil, and a 58% onboarding uplift in Asia Pacific by replacing SMS OTP
Turning APIs into Real-World Impact
Impact at scale. Network APIs win priority when they fit existing workflows and improve business metrics, connecting raw network signals to outcomes. Aduna Global‘s CEO Anthony Bartolo outlined three requirements for impact at scale: – Simplified multi-network access – Consistent behaviour and security across networks – Outcome-aligned commercial models such as per-transaction or per-session pricing
Connected Outcomes: Shifts the conversation to value not technology
From “best effort” to engineered reliability. Industry organisation Mplify assembled an all-star automotive panel with Chetan Narang at COLT, Sridhar Gollopudi at Google Cloud, Roger Berg from Denso and Pascal Menezes, CTO at Mplify to talk about the role of connectivity in the automotive industry. The panel argued connected vehicle services should be as reliable as safety systems, and that “best-effort” connectivity has always been the blocker. COLT and Google described combining agentic AI with CAMARA QoD APIs for closed-loop, self-healing performance in a ground breaking demo.
Airborne Private 5G and network APIs for live broadcast and PPDR
Airborne private 5G for live broadcast. Incredibly a private 5G network was flown on an ultralight aircraft at 350 metres to support live TV cameras during a cycling race in Brittany for France TV, with significant environmental and cost benefits. Neutral Wireless‘s Sam Yoffe explained how they used CAMARA’s QoD API to create a priority session that protected the broadcast stream from congestion and improved video quality.

Air Europa also described congestion at airport gates where safety-critical operational devices compete with passenger traffic, making latency and reliability unacceptable.
The panel’s view was that the core technology is largely ready, but regulation, commercial model design and ecosystem building are not.
