Wrapping Up the Open Gateway Hackathon at Talent Arena
The Open Gateway Hackathon at Talent Arena was a resounding success, bringing together developers, tech innovators, and problem-solvers to push the boundaries of what’s possible with Open Gateway APIs. From groundbreaking solutions to intense collaboration, the event showcased the immense potential of telecom operator data in driving real-world innovation. This hackathon, proudly sponsored by Nokia, showcased the power of telecom operator data in creating real-world applications.

A Hub for Innovation
The hackathon provided an exciting opportunity for participants to explore and develop solutions leveraging Nokia’s Network as Code (NaC) platform. Teams had access to standardised network APIs, including:
- Quality of Service on Demand (QoD), Device Location, and Device Status
- Specialised Networks: Slice Management, slice selection, preconfigured application slice
- Network Insights: Congestion detection
- Security and Privacy: SIM Swap detection, consent, and identity management
With access to live networks, participants tested their projects under real-world conditions and had the chance to present their solutions to an expert panel.
