Connected Fintech & Commerce Forum #20
The power of innovation and collaboration in the fight against scams in South Africa
The Connected Fintech and Commerce Forum returns on 17th November 2026 for the third event in our Autumn/Winter series. According to South African Banking Risk Information Centre (SABRIC) 2025 Annual Crime Statistics Report, South Africans lost R2.4 billion to digital banking crime in 2025 ‘driven mainly by social-engineering and customer compromise and/or manipulation rather than direct attacks on banking systems‘.
