Q3 Connected Manufacturing and Production Community Meeting

This quarter’s meeting features two technology showcases from The Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC), highlighting how advanced connectivity can support industrial transformation: 

Technology Showcase 1: Remote Monitoring and Control 

Discover how connected technologies can enable the remote operation, monitoring and optimisation of industrial equipment, including in isolated or hazardous environments, improving flexibility, responsiveness and operational efficiency. 

Technology Showcase 2: Extended Reality (XR) 

Explore how XR technologies are being applied in industrial settings to support training, maintenance, collaboration and operational excellence, and the role connectivity plays in enabling these experiences. 

Smart Manufacturing Unpacked – new tool 

Introducing the new interactive tool developed by GSMA to demonstrate the role of Industrial IoT (IIoT) in smart manufacturing. Designed to support discussions with manufacturers at different stages of their digital transformation journey, the tool will help illustrate how connectivity, sensors, analytics and automation can work together to deliver business value.

Steering Committee Nominees and Community Priorities 

Meet the nominees for the Connected Manufacturing & Production Steering Committee and hear how they can contribute to the future direction of the community.
