The GSMA IoT Community have been focusing this year on making IoT easier for industry customers to connect their products. The global IoT connections forecast to reach 40 billion in 2033, that’s a growth from the 16 billion that was predicted at the end of 2023, according Transforma Insights forecast report.
The series of 5G IoT Summit have been demonstrating the growth and scalability of 5G Massive IoT. At MWC24 Barcelona we illustrated how new technology enablers like NTN Satellite is impacting and enhancing coverage for customer applications. As well as how AI play a role in IoT to create value that will save time and money.
At MWC24 Shanghai we continued the discussion focusing on newer technologies like RedCap and the additional features and capabilities this will bring for IoT application in Asia. We had a line up of thought leaders and experts, all sharing their insights from scaling 5G IoT RedCap developments, the benefits and investment opportunities this technology provides.
