GSMA Operator Platform Group – February 2025 publications

The GSMA Operator Platform Group (OPG) has published a new set of specifications. These include the requirements and architecture now covering the routing to and from aggregation platforms and an update of the Operator Platform’s internal architecture, providing alignment with what’s defined for the GSMA’s Open Gateway initiative.

Next to that, further guidance is provided for the implementation based on the Operator Platform Architecture of Open Gateway’s Service APIs that were defined in Linux Foundation CAMARA’s project.

A final specification brings enhancements to the APIs for federation between operator platforms that is among others used for providing federated edge compute capabilities.
