The GSMA Operator Platform Group (OPG) has released an updated collection of specifications. The updates to these documents encompass requirements and architectural guidelines for including operational interfaces between aggregators/channel partners and the operator into the Operator Platform and defined journeys for using those in the context of GSMA Open Gateway.
They also cover alignment on the error handling across service APIs, the routing of API requests where subscriber input is not needed, requirements and architectural approaches for additional vetting of the identity and other information related to the Application Provider and Application using the services offered through the Operator Platform. Next to that they detail the handling of API flows requiring user consent for Open Gateway, including the Consent Info API defined in Linux Foundation’s CAMARA project.
Furthermore, they provide guidance on the implementation of Open Gateway’s Service APIs for the stable APIs that have been defined in the Fall25 Meta-release of that Linux Foundation CAMARA project and finally they improve on the overall structure of the documents with content being moved from the overall Operator Platform requirements specification to more appropriate locations in the requirements for the Edge service and the Open Gateway technical realisation.
