The Operator Platform (OP) aims to provide a unified solution for operators to offer their network capabilities as a service to enterprise customers and developers. Leveraging its federation capabilities, the platform enables these customers to connect to a single interface, granting access to the capabilities of all federated networks.

The architecture of the Operator Platform underpins the implementation of Open Gateway services within operator networks. This updated version of the requirements and architecture covers the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within the OP and the exposure of the capabilities offered through the OP to AI-based Applications. It also defines how to handle the OP’s Privacy Management for cases when a subscriber is roaming and/or when federation between OPs is used to deliver the service requested by an Application. The new version also provides requirements for capturing the consent of a subscriber. Finally, it also includes terminology updates to improve clarity and align with other OP-related specifications.
