OPG.13 – Open Gateway Operate APIs Technical Realisation Guidelines

This specification provides guidance for the implementation of the TM Forum Operate APIs for use in the aggregation model defined for GSMA Open Gateway. While the Service APIs defined in CAMARA provide the access to the actual services that Operators offer through GSMA Open Gateway, the Operate APIs would cover the operational aspects required for the integration of the Open Gateway platforms with those that Aggregators and other channel partners use for interacting with their Application Provider customer base.

These APIs would enable aggregators and channel partners to obtain information about the catalogue of services that an operator offers. They cover also the lifecycle operations related to the Applications that would consume the services offered through the Open Gateway Platform and would expose usage data. Defining guidelines for their usage ensures alignment of the way through which they are offered across operators and therefore this specification will make it easier for aggregators and other channel partners to integrate with the various operators offering services through Open Gateway.

This new version of the specification provides initial guidance on the realisation of the TM Forum 936 and 937 APIs for product catalogue exposure and product usage data. It provides details on the usage of the different procedures and next to that it provides updates to allow usage of the APIs without an Operate API hub.
