This specification defines the interactions between a client and the network to configure operator services on the device. It is used among others for the configuration of RCS services. The new version of the specification adds support for the identification of the subscriber for which the configuration would be done based on a Mobile-Originated SMS message as well as adding a procedure to do the same using a Temporary Token obtained from a SIM authentication endpoint. Next to that it clarifies the verification of the authenticity of the requesting client and adds procedures for providing certificates that could be used for securing the signaling of the services being configured.
